John Oropesa founded Orocon Construction in 2006 with a vision of delivering quality projects with honesty and integrity, to surpass his client’s expectations from conception to completion. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, he is responsible for the company’s overall business management, focusing on business development, estimating and project management.
John’s wealth of experience as a general contractor, developer , and subcontractor provides a depth and perspective that is uncommon in the industry today. John has managed a variety of project types including commercial, medical, industrial, parking garages, hospitality, gaming, and condominiums. His background provides Orocon’s customers the advantage of a large contractor’s expertise combined with the personal attention one would expect from a small business.

AMANDA WOOD
Office Manager
With a Master of Business Administration and over 16 years experience in the construction industry, Amanda Wood serves as Orocon's Office Manager, providing leadership in financial administration, contract coordination, and operational support. She oversees accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, job cost tracking, and vendor compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and timely project execution. Her strong financial acumen and attention to detail help maintain organized systems that support both field operations and executive leadership.
In her role, Amanda works closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to streamline documentation, manage project billing, and maintain regulatory and licensing requirements. Known for her professionalism and efficiency, she plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while supporting the company’s commitment to quality, accountability, and successful project delivery.

MILLIE HILL
Millie Hill joined Orocon Construction, LLC is February 2016 and serves as Human Resources Manager. With more than 26 years of experience in human resources and 19 years in the construction industry, Millie brings extensive knowledge of workforce management, compliance, and employee relations.
In her role, Millie supports both field and office teams by ensuring efficient HR processes, accurate payroll administration, and comprehensive benefits coordination. Her long-standing experience within the construction industry allows her to navigate the unique challenges of a dynamic, project-driven workforce while fostering a supportive and compliant work environment. Millie’s dedication to organizational excellence and employee well-being plays a vital role in Orocon Construction’s continued success.
